We’re excited to invite you and your family for a festive, feel-good day at our annual Christmas Cracker event, a warm, welcoming celebration for everyone in our community.
Here’s what you can expect:
- A magical Santa’s Grotto for children: booking essential. Each child will receive a gift, some reindeer-food and enjoy fun Christmas crafts. Tickets are £7.50 each and can be booked here.
- Free entry for everyone else to join in the fun: carol singing, festive games and welcoming refreshments throughout the day.
- Plus: mulled wine, festive hot chocolate, and plenty of cakes, mince pies and snacks.
- Entertainment: we’re delighted to confirm that we’ll have a special performance by SSW Trustee and popular local singer Kelly O’Haire, who will perform alongside her sister. We’re in conversation with other local groups too so watch this space for announcements!
What makes our Christmas Cracker special…
At Sight Support Worthing we believe that Christmas is best enjoyed when shared. This event is our chance to bring together people of all generations: children meeting Santa, adults socialising, families enjoying the decorations and music, all in a friendly, inclusive and accessible space.
By coming along, you also support our mission: to improve independence and wellbeing for people with visual impairments in and around the Worthing area.
How to get involved
- Bring the children: book grotto tickets for a memorable experience with Santa, as well as a gift.
- Invite friends, family and neighbours: everyone’s welcome… drop by, stay for 10 minutes or settle in for the whole day!
- Volunteer or perform: if you or your group would like to entertain (carols, music, crafts) or help on the day, please get in touch – we’d love your support.
- Donate a cake or baked item: if you’re a keen baker and would like to bring a contribution, let us know. We’ll be very grateful!
