December is a special time of year at Sight Support Worthing, and this year we have three events that bring the community together, raise vital funds and help you get into the festive spirit. All are open to everyone, whether you’re a long-standing friend of SSW or hearing about us for the first time.
Christmas Carol Service: Saturday 5th December
We’re holding a traditional Carol Service at St Botolph’s Church on Lansdowne Road, Worthing. Arrive from 3pm for refreshments, with the service starting at 4pm. The afternoon includes the Nativity story, readings from selected guests, a performance from the church choir and carols for everyone to sing together.
Tickets are £10, with children under 12 free, and include mulled wine or a soft drink and mince pies. The church has step-free access, an accessible toilet in the St Botolph Room, and assistance dogs are welcome.

Jude and Fiona, both experienced art teachers who have run many wreath making workshops, will guide you through every step. All materials are supplied, and mulled wine and mince pies are provided.
There are only 20 places and booking is essential. Tickets are £42.50 per person.

Every ticket sold supports people living with sight loss in Worthing and the surrounding area. SSW has been here since 1910, and events like these help us keep our services going, from technology support and benefits advice to counselling, activities and advocacy.
