CPD Vision Impairment Awareness Training
Our interactive training sessions are aimed at teams and organisations who would like to better support team members and customers who are visually impaired and enhance their understanding of DEI; and individuals looking to learn more about visual impairment for their work or personal life.
The sessions are practical, educational, and fun and we can offer them at your premises or at our centre. Dates held at our centre are advertised on our events calendar or in the newsletter.
What we cover:
- An introduction to vision impairment and eye conditions
- Communication and problem solving
- Diversity, equity and inclusion
- Practical guiding techniques
- Social model of disability and legal considerations
We offer:
- Sessions are £30 per person with a minimum of £300 to deliver at your premises.
- The training is 3 hours long with a short break.
- We can deliver talks to a bigger organisation or bespoke training if you would like a session designed for your organisation.
- CPD approved Certificate on completion.
