The volunteers at SSW are an integral part of our charity and enable us to support our community of blind and visually impaired members. We welcome volunteers who wish to help weekly, monthly or every so often; there are roles available whatever skills or time you have to offer.
As a volunteer you will meet new people, volunteer in a friendly environment, and know that you are having an impact on the lives of the people that we support. Living with low or no vision or losing sight can be challenging and sometimes traumatic but, with a little support, our members can live a fulfilling and active life.
We have various volunteer roles at SSW whether you are looking for a regular weekly or monthly commitment or an every-so-often stint.
