Role Overview:
To assist with the administration of activities and services run by a charity for people who are sight impaired.
Hours / days to be agreed
Reports To: Volunteer Coordinator
Example of duties depending on skills and experience:
- Answering phones and dealing with incoming enquiries
- Responding to email enquiries
- Welcoming visitors
- Helping with blog posts and design of posters / flyers and basic marketing
- Updating our database
- Finance admin / data entry
- Helping with events planning
- Helping collate monthly prize draw activity
- Email correspondence
- Booking appointments and other engagements
- Scanning and organising documents

Soft skills – Friendly, conversational, helpful and flexible to support charity service users / members and the team
Organisation – Able to prioritise and deal with a variety of tasks
Communication verbal and written – ability to adapt tone and content to the audience.
