Role Overview:

Our Chess sessions started two years ago and have been a steady staple on the events calendar ever since.

Attracting a range of ages and abilities, these sessions definitely get the cogs wiring. Adaptations, including tactile boards and verbalising moves with reference to the grid system, make this classic game more accessible for blind and partially sighted players.

You do not have to be a chess Grand Master to support these sessions and training will be provided.
