As a charity, we need to raise enough funds to ensure we can maintain the successful running of our services. We do that through a combination of legacies, investments, grants and fundraising. There’s different ways of financially supporting the charity and we’ve outlined some of them below. However, these are just a few examples, and we’re always open to new ideas!
This is easy to set up, and you can choose how much to give and when – whether as a one-off donation or as a monthly or annual donation. If you’re a UK tax payer we can also claim Gift Aid on your donation. Click here to complete a simple form <LINK TO GO IN> or get in touch if you’d like help setting this up <IS THIS JB?>.
Including SSW in your will is a generous and hugely appreciated way for you to show your support. Legacies like yours enable the blind and vision impaired to continue to access our bespoke services such as counselling, advocacy, events, signposting, benefits support and more. We hope to offer free will writing services in 2024 here at the Centre. In the meantime, please contact Jackie Brownlee (01903 235 782 or jackie@sightsupportworthing.org.uk) who will be able to advise how to best specify your legacy.
Giving in memory of a loved one is a fitting way to celebrate someone’s life, at the same time as supporting those with sight loss in our local community. There are different ways of donating in honour of a loved one, including:
You can choose to set this up through a third-party such as Just Giving. We can help advise you and set this up.
You can have a cash collection, an online option or a combination of both. Again, we can help with this including setting up a JustGiving page or providing you with envelopes for a cash collection.
To discuss any of the above ideas or any other donation-related enquiries, please do get in touch with us. Call Jackie Brownlee on 01903 235 782 or email her: jackie@sightsupportworthing.org.uk).
