West Sussex County Council is developing a new adult social care strategy and is asking people to tell them what is important to them and how they can support them to lead fulfilling lives.
They are focussing on people, rather than services.
WSCC want to understand what a good life means to residents. This means they want to hear about what is important to you, what you like and enjoy, and what makes you happy.
They have created a survey for you to tell them what a good life means to you and, in this short video, Amanda Jupp, Cabinet Member for Adults’ Services explains why it is important they hear about the things that matter to you.
To help you complete the survey they have broken it down into different parts which could make up a good life.
The survey asks you two questions about each of these different parts.
- What is good about it now?
- What would you like to change and why?
You can answer all the questions or pick only the ones which are important to you.
There is space at the end to tell them anything else that is important to you.
WSCC welcome input from anyone with an interest in the future of adult social care in West Sussex. They survey will close on the 8th November 2021.
There is also an easy read version which you can access here.
